Allain Bougrain-Dubourg
Campaining for nature and the animal cause.
Is it still necessary to introduce Allain Bougrain Dubourg ? He's the current President of the League for the Protection of Birds (FR) and director at the heart of the Nature Production Society (FR) and, above all, one of the most fervent campaigners for the animal cause and for respect for nature.
An extremely popular TV host, chronicler, journalist and committed director, his various interests and activities all have one point in common - his unfailingly uncompromising crusade for the protection of the animal world - and have continuously led him to become involved in its defence and preservation, regardless of frontiers and restrictions.
From baby seals to animal experimentation, from animals for slaughter to those of the spectacle, from birds to horses to the bears of the Pyrenees, from wolves to the sheep of Australia, from the ivory trade, hunting, bullfighting, to avian flu, from trafficking of all kinds to shameful and unacceptable massacres... the list could become astonishingly long.
